Yeah, I have seen a lot of drawings of him with the red scarf, a couple of which I probably used as reference material. Fox (and the rest of the Starfox team, actually) has always worn a red scarf, and since we didn't get a full body shot of Wolf until Starfox Assault, I think a lot of artists just gave him one to match.

As for the red bandana, Im pretty sure you can see a hint of one around his throat in starfox 64. that goes for the trenchcoat you see him in alot. Funny how everybody only wants to draw him the way he was in SF 64 XD.
